Sweet Chilli Dip

Ingredients

  • 250g Red Chillis
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 100g light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 100ml Water

Method

1. Put all ingredients onto a small pan

2. Bring to the boil and simmer over a moderate heat for about 5 minutes, until soft

3. Put in a blender and season with salt to taste (about 1/2 tsp)

4. Blend all the ingredients into a paste.

5. Return to the pan for a further 10 mins, stirring to stop it from sticking

6. Allow to cool and keep in the fridge
