Start at the village green and, with the pond behind you, take the road "Spout Hill" to the right.

The upper picture shows the road from the village green.

The lower picture is the junction at the bottom of Spout Hill.

When you reach a sign leading right into the woodland, take it.

Follow the path through the woodland.

Shortly after the path turns to the right (at a signpost saying "Public Footpath"), you will come to another signpost where you take the path down a hill to the left. If you get to a gate on the right, you've gone a few meters too far!

The path leads onto a road near Elloughton. Turn left onto the road.

If you want to stop for refreshments, you can turn right into Elloughton here and go to The Half Moon pub.

Follow the road until you see a signpost leading you onto a wooden path into the woods.

When you reach the top of the hill, there is a signpost; go left (Welton 1 mile).

The path leads onto another road. Turn left and follow the road uphill past some stables on the left.

Shortly after the stables, the woodland on the right ends. Turn right onto a bridleway.

After a few hundred meters, turn left at the first signpost (Wolds Way) and along the edge of a field with some woods on your left towards Wouldby Manor Farm.

When you get past the farm, turn left at the T-junction, then take the path right, following the Wolds Way.

Walk towards the farm house then turn right and walk past it.

Continue along the path onto Turtle Hill, then turn left after a short descent.

Follow the path until it joins a road at a T-junction. Go straight across along Elloughton Dale Road and follow the road until it turns 90 degrees to the left, now walk through a path on the right through Long Plantation (where the car is in the bottom photograph).

The path eventually becomes a road and takes you past Wold View Farm. This is the road that you first walked up.

When you come to a path to the right leading to Brantingham Church, take it and walk down the hill.

At the bottom of the path, you will see Brantingham Church on your right.

Now, turn left onto the road, which takes you back to the village green at Brantingham.
